Six friends from South Devon who play to entertain and have fun. We’re an upbeat eclectic roots, folk-rock, Roots, Cajun, Country band taking inspiration from traditional and modern songs - an original treatment of a strong song is what we’re all about, and equally well-received on a festival stage, in folk clubs, pubs, weddings, or playing for charity or community events. From Dylan to Show of Hands … something for everyone!

“Mother’s Ruin” is an electric/acoustic folk band playing a range of upbeat covers and original numbers.

Mother’s Ruin play upbeat and foot- tapping folk rock. Their music ranges through traditional folk, folk rock, Americana and Cajun where an original treatment of great songs is the foundation of their repetoire.
